6.0 Maintenance
CAUTION: Remove test leads before opening the battery cover; Electrical
Shock Hazard.
6.1 Cleaning
CAUTION: When cleaning, use only a dry cloth. Do not use liquids of any kind
to clean the meter.
6.2 Battery Replacement
1.
When the display shows the LOWBAT indicator, replace the batteries as soon as
possible
2.
Open the rear Battery Cover and remove the batteries
Replace the eight (8) batteries (1.5Vdc 'AA' batteries) and close the battery cover
3.
Never dispose of used batteries or rechargeable batteries in household waste.
As consumers, users are legally required to take used batteries to appropriate
collection sites, the retail store where the batteries were purchased, or wherever
batteries are sold.
Disposal: Do not dispose of this instrument in household waste. The user is obligated to
take end-of-life devices to a designated collection point for the disposal of electrical and
electronic equipment.
