    INTRODUCTION The P3 All Around Pallet Positioner is a simple device that will automatically maintain a load at the ideal height for manual loading and unloading. If a palletized load is placed on the unit, the unit gradually rises as boxes or parts are removed. This automatically maintains the top of the load at the correct working height.

    Responsibility of Owners and Users Inspection and Maintenance The device shall be inspected and maintained in proper working order in accordance with Presto Lifts owner’s manual. Removal from Service Any device not in safe operating condition such as, but not limited to, excessive leakage, missing rollers, pins, or fasteners, any bent or cracked structural members, cut or frayed pneumatic lines, damaged or malfunctioning controls or safety devices, etc.

    SAFETY ALERT SYMBOLS AND SIGNAL WORDS The safety of all persons operating, maintaining, repairing, or in the vicinity of this equipment is of paramount concern. This is a powerful machine with moving parts, and is capable of causing personal injury if proper precautions are not taken. Therefore, throughout this manual, certain hazards have been identified which may occur in the use of the machine, and there are appropriate instructions or precautions which should be taken to avoid these hazards.
  • Page 7 WARNING! Do not inflate the system to more than 30 PSI at the fully raised position with no load. If the actuation system pres- sure is higher than 65 PSI under any circumstance it may cause the failure of the air actuation system thus resulting in severe injury.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (continued) WARNING! Ensure that loading and unloading of the P3 All Around is done in even layers. Loading or unloading a load on one side may cause the load to tip over and you may be injured. This can also damage the unit. See Figure 4. Figure 2.

    2 When equipped with the optional Portability Set release the floor lock and move the unit. Be sure to engage the floor lock once the P3 All Around is re-located. 3. When equipped with the optional leveling feet the base frame can be raised approximately 3'' from the floor allowing access for a hand (or pow- ered) pallet jack to be positioned under the center of the base frame.

Presto will not be responsible for equipment failures resulting from the use of incorrect replacement parts or from unauthorized modifications to the unit. Presto can supply all replacement parts for your PalletPal.

    Presto Lifts Limited Warranty Policy Presto Lifts warrants this product against defects in the welded structural frame and, including the scissor legs from faulty material and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of invoice. A lifetime limited warranty is provided for the Airstroke Actuator in all pneumatic lifts against any defect due to faulty material or workmanship.
