Using the Appliance

Time

Set the current time after the appliance is first switched on or after
being disconnected from the power mains for a longer period of time
(more than one week).
The current time can be changed at anytime. When On/Off key
is pressed and clock mode appears, for the first 30 seconds, up
and down arrows will appear on the display. These can be used to
change the time. Press Stop/Start to confirm.

Adjusting the display contrast

Display contrast can be set when the (light) symbol is visible. Hold
the light key for eight seconds. First, »bri« will appear on the display
unit, followed by three bars. Touch the (
the display contrast. Three levels are available (one, two, or three
bars). Press Stop/Start key to confirm. After 1 minute, if Stop/Start is
not pressed, the current settings remain.

Sound

Sound can be set when the light symbol is visible. Hold the light key
for eight seconds . Touch the up key (
display unit, followed by two fully lit bars. Touch the (
keys to choose one of the four volume levels (zero, one, two, or three
bars). Press Stop/Start key to confirm. After 1 minute, if Stop/Start is
not pressed, the current settings remain.
WARNING
After a power outage or after switching off the appliance, all extra user
settings are restored.
