FR-2LE
Connecting to a PC
The FR-2LE provides the [USB] connector which is used for directly connecting to a PC.
By connecting the FR-2LE to a PC via this connector, you can control the current memory
card of the FR-2LE from the PC and transfer audio files to the PC.
See "Chapter 6: Exporting audio file to a PC" starting from page 69 for details about
audio file export/import.
<Notes>
• To use the FR-2LE with a personal computer,
make the USB mode active using the "USB Device Mode" item on the "Setup" menu
in the MENU mode. See page 71 for details.
• A USB cable is not supplied with the FR-2LE. Purchase a commercially available
appropriate USB cable which conforms to the USB port standard.
Connecting to the remote controller
The FR-2LE is equipped with the [REMOTE] jack for connecting the remote controller
which is supplied with the unit.
Using the remote controller, you can enter record standby mode, start recording, or
mark cue points.
<Tip>
The supplied fixing belt for the remote controller can
be used as shown in the figure on the right. You can fix
it to a shoulder belt, an external microphone, etc.
Also you can fix a strap to the hole shown by an arrow
in the figure on the right.
