Setup before you start recording

Before you start recording, set up the following items.
You can set them up using the "Setup" menu in the MENU mode, however, you can also
set up the first four items below using the quick setup mode.

Before starting audio recording, you can make necessary settings in the quick setup
mode. For details about the actual procedure in the quick setup mode, see the next
page.
Quick setup mode:
In the quick setup mode, you can quickly set up the first four items in the table above
from the Home screen, without the need of entering the MENU mode.
At the right of the Home screen, there are four icons for the quick setup items. Using
these icons, you can make settings by following the procedure shown on the next page.
The setting you make in the quick setup mode is immediately reflected to the
<Note>:
setting of the appropriate menu item on the "Setup" menu in the MENU mode, and vice
versa.
