    Installing the Ice Maker The ice maker should be installed by a licensed plumber to be in accordance with local electrical and plumbing code requirements. Before you plug the ice maker in to a power supply, be sure to let it stand upright for at least 24 hours to allow the compressor’s oils to settle.
