Removal of Lid To remove the lid place a finger under the lid tab in front of the unit ONLY - NOT at the back where the handle is. Pull tab out and up slightly to disengage tab from the canister and to clear the black ring on the filter bag. -

Do not at any time attempt to bypass, remove, substitute, or by any other means change the type of filters used in this vacuum. Only use approved Minuteman HEPA filters and filter bags. This vacuum is designed for DRY pickup ONLY. Do not use for wet pickup. -
