Cabling for NVMe
When cabling the backplane (BPN-SAS3-116A-N10) to the Ultra Riser card (AOC-URN6-
i2XT), the NVMe add-on card card (AOC-SLG3-2E4R-P), and the motherboard, it is important
to connect the proper ports. Otherwise, some NVMe drives will not be detected.

Connect NVMe cables CBL-SAST-0964 (NVMe 0–5), CBL-SAST-0849 (NVMe 6,7), and
CBL-SAST-0820 (NVMe 8,9).
•
Connect sideband cable CBL-CDAT-0728.
•
Insert add-on card AOC-SLG3-2E4R-P into riser card RSC-UMR-8; insert riser card into
the motherboard.
