every 5 secs is a critical fault that generally requires service.

4.5 Push-Button Use in Non-Metered Version
The version of the ProStar MPPT without meter display fea-
tures a push-button that operates as follows depending on
the DIP Switch 1 setting:
Normal Mode (DIP 1 OFF)
• One quick press and release will clear any faults or
reminders that are present
• Press and hold for 5 seconds to initiate an Equalization
(EQ), if unit is set to manual EQ.
