Manual Exposure Shooting
In the <a> mode, you can manually set the shutter speed, aperture, and
ISO speed for movie shooting. Using manual exposure to shoot movies is
for advanced users.

Set the power switch to <k>.
The reflex mirror will make a sound,

then the image will appear on the LCD
monitor.

Set the Mode Dial to <a>.

Set the ISO speed.
Press the <g> button and press the
z
<Y> <Z> keys or turn the <6> dial
to select the ISO speed.

Set the shutter speed and aperture.
To set the shutter speed (1), turn the
z
<6> dial.
To set the aperture (2), turn the <6>
z
dial while holding down the <g>
button.

Focus and shoot the movie.
The procedure is the same as steps 3
z
and 4 for "Shooting Movies" (= 218).
