PERIODIC SERVICE
BChecking Power Steering Line
To avoid personal injury:
A Be sure to stop the engine and remove the key
before checking power steering line.
1. Check to see that all lines are tight and not damaged.
2. If hoses are found to be worn or damaged, replace or
repair them at once.
(1) Power steering pressure hoses

EVERY 400 HOURS

BAdjusting Front Axle Pivot
If the front axle pivot pin adjustment is not correct, front
wheel vibration can occur causing vibration in the steering
wheel.
C Adjusting procedure
Remove the split pin, tighten the adjusting nut (tightening
torque 20 N-m, 2.0 kgf-m), then make sure that one of the
nut slots aligns with the split pin hole, tighten the nut
slightly if necessary to align. Replace the split pin.

BChanging Transmission Fluid
To avoid personal injury:
A Allow engine to cool down sufficiently, oil can
be hot and can burn.
1. To drain the used oil, remove the drain plug at the
bottom of the transmission case and drain the oil
completely into the oil pan.
2. After draining reinstall the drain plug. Clean the
transmission strainer. Fill with new KUBOTA SUPER
UDT fluid up to the upper notch on the dipstick.
(See "LUBRICANTS" in "MAINTENANCE" section
and "DAILY CHECK" in "PERIODIC SERVICE"
section.) After running the engine for a few minutes,
stop it and check the oil level again, add oil to
prescribed level. Properly dispose of used oil.
