ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
1. Move the POWER ON/OFF (I/O) switch to the OFF (O)

draining water.
• For units on the floor , use a 2-1/2" (64 mm) deep, full
size food pan under the drain hose.
• For countertop or stacked units, use a waste container
with a minimum 1 gallon (3.8 l) capacity under the drain
hose. WARNING! ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD—Do
not allow water from an upper stacked unit to drain
onto control panel of lower unit.
4. Unlatch the hose valve to open the drain hose and empty
the reservoir.
