Using convection convert

The conv convert option allows you to convert any
normal baking recipe using the convection bake
feature. The control uses the normal recipe settings
and adjusts to a lower temperature for convection
baking. Conv convert must be used with CONV
BAKE feature.
NOTE
You may press CANCEL at any time when setting
the control or during the cooking process.
Setting convection convert
See the example below to set conv bake, starting
immediately with the auto-suggest (default) setting
of 350°F (176°C) and adding the conv convert
option.
Step
1. Press UPPER OVEN
2. Press CONV BAKE
3. Press COOK OPTIONS
4. Press CONV CONVERT
5. Press START
Example
Press
UPPER
OVEN
Once START is pressed the oven display shows
PRE-HEATING. After the oven reaches the
converted set temperature, PRE-HEATING will turn
off and a beep will indicate the oven is ready.
The added conv convert option will automatically
lower the set temperature you set from the bake
recipe to an adjusted conv bake temperature.
When conv convert is used with cook time, "CF"
(Check Food) will display when the cook time is
75% complete. The control will also beep at regular
intervals until baking has finished.
To add or change any cook settings after this
feature has started:
• Select the UPPER oven. Make temperature
changes using the + or - keys. Each press of +
or - will adjust the temperature by 5° F ( or 2°C).
• If changing cooking times, select the cook time
or end time keys needed to make the changes.
