Rotate the MENU SEL control to change the
setting to the desired value, and push the MENU
SEL control/button.
The "?" mark will change back to the "n" marker
and the new setting will be saved.
The gain values for L, M, and H may be set to any
of the following values: –3, 0, 3, 6, or 12 dB.
To set the gain value for another switch position,
return to step 3.

To end menu operations, set the VF DISP switch
to ON.
The menu display will disappear from the
viewfinder screen, and the current status of the
camera will be displayed on the upper and lower
edges of the screen.
4-5-4 Setting Shutter, ECS,
Shutter Speed, and Super
EVS
The SHUTTER page of the OPERATION menu is
used to turn the electronic shutter and ECS ON or
OFF, as well as to make other settings relating to
shutter speed.

Set the VF DISP switch to MENU.
The OPERATION menu will be displayed on the
viewfinder screen.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to display the
SHUTTER page, and push the MENU SEL
control.
SHUTTER: Used to set the electronic shutter and
ECS to ON or OFF, and to select the shutter
speed (Off/100/250/500/1000/2000/ECS)
ECS: When ECS is selected using the SHUTTER
item, used to select the ECS frequency (30.0 to
7000 Hz)
S-EVS: Set to ON to use the Super EVS mode.
S-EVS (%): When S-EVS is set to ON, this item
sets the S-EVS value (0 to 100%).
D56: Set to ON to use the D56 mode.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to align the "n"
marker with the item to be changed, and push the
MENU SEL control.
The "n" marker will change into a "?" mark.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to change the
setting to the desired value, and push the MENU
SEL control.
The "?" mark will change back to the "n" marker
and the new setting will be saved.

To set the values for another items, repeat steps 3
and 4.

and Intercom Line
The AUDIO page of the OPERATION menu is used to
set the gain for microphones 1 and 2, and to select the
intercom line.
