Rotate the MENU SEL control to display the
AUTO SETUP page, and push the MENU SEL
control.
AUTO BLACK: Automatically adjust the black
balance.
AUTO WHITE: Automatically adjust the white
balance.
AUTO LEVEL: Automatically adjust the
camera's internal circuit levels.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to align the "n"
marker with the desired item, and push the MENU
SEL control/button.
The "n" marker will change into a "START?"
mark, and will blink.

Push the MENU SEL control/button. (Press the
CANCEL button to cancel the automatic
adjustment.)
Automatic adjustment of the black balance or
white balance will begin.
If the MENU SEL control is pushed during the
operation, the adjustment process will terminate.
To select a test signal

Set the VF DISP switch to MENU.
The OPERATION menu will be displayed on the
viewfinder screen.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to display the
AUTO SETUP page, and push the MENU SEL
control.
TEST: Used to select a test signal (Off, 1, or 2)

Rotate the MENU SEL control to align the "n"
marker with TEST, and push the MENU SEL
control.
The "n" marker will change into a "?" mark.

Rotate the MENU SEL control to change the
setting to the desired value, and push the MENU
SEL control.
The "?" mark will change back to the "n" marker
and the new setting will be saved.

To set the values for another items, repeat steps 3
and 4.

To end menu operations, set the VF DISP switch to
ON.
The menu display will disappear from the viewfinder
screen, and the status of items set to ON will be
displayed on the screen.

The SCENE FILE page of the OPERATION menu is
used to call up scene files.
