DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER LAYOUT

1. FRONT PANEL LAYOUT

1. NUMERIC BUTTONS (1~10/0)
These numeric buttons above serve numerous functions. They can be used to enter numerical
data when prompted by the DVR, or used to select specific channels/cameras. They can also be
used to input specific days during schedule option, or to enter alphabetical letters during channel
ID function.
2. ENTER
This button selects and enables the configuration changes made on the menu and sub-menu
screens. It is also used to enter numbers greater than 10 when entering numeric entries.
3. DISPLAY / +
This button is used to switch between multi-view mode or single view mode. It is also used to
select options from various menus.
4. BACKUP
This button allows backup of video clips onto USB flash drive.
5. SEARCH / -
This button is used to access the Time Search menu. It is also used to select options from various
menus.
6. STATUS INDICATOR
Two LEDs display the status of the DVR. (REC during Recording, and HDD for active hard drive)
7. STEP FORWARD / UP / CLR
This button is used to step forward (picture-by-picture) during playback operation. It is also used
to navigate up in the menu, clear or remove any of the alert icons on the screen, cancel any
selection changes in sub-menu, or turn off the alarm buzzer.
8. FAST REWIND / LEFT / RECORDING
This button is used to fast rewind during playback. It is also used to navigate to the left in the
menu, or to start/stop normal recording.
9. FAST FORWARD / RIGHT / SCHEDULE
This button is used to fast forward during playback. It is also used to navigate to the right in menu,
start or stop schedule recording.
10. LOG / DOWN / STOP
This button is used to access the log screen. It is also used to navigate down in menu, stop the
recording.
