Operation

The Tepan Yaki has 2 cooking zones
which can be switched on and regu-
lated independently. The entire area can
be used when cooking large quantities
of food. For smaller quantities, the front
zone can be used for cooking while the
rear zone can be used to keep food
warm at a lower power level.
Fire hazard due to overheated
food.
Unattended food can overheat and
ignite.
Do not leave the Tepan Yaki unat-
tended while it is being used.

Knobs

The knobs have a stop and must not be
turned to the 0 position past the 12 po-
sition.

Switching on

 Turn the knob clockwise to the re-
quired power level.
The in-operation indicator and the tem-
perature indicator will light up. The
residual-heat indicator will light up after
a certain temperature has been
reached.
The temperature indicator light will
switch on and off intermittently in con-
junction with the heating element of
the Tepan Yaki, i.e., it only lights up
when the heating is operating.

Switching off

 Turn the knob counterclockwise to
0.

Residual-heat indicator

If the Tepan Yaki is still hot, the residual-
heat indicator will light up after it has
been switched off.
The residual-heat indicator only goes
out when the Tepan Yaki is safe to
touch.
Danger of burning due to hot
surfaces.
The surfaces will be hot after cook-
ing.
Do not touch the surfaces while the
residual-heat indicators are on.
