Cleaning and care
Cleaning the cooking surface
Remove coarse soiling immediately
using a spatula.
Then let the cooking surface cool un-
til it is safe to the touch, add some
soapy dishwater, and let the grime
soak. Clean the cooking surface with
the rough side of a dish sponge and a
few drops of Miele Ceramic and
Stainless-steel Cleaner (see "Optional
accessories"). Finally wipe off the
cooking surface with clean water and
dry it with a clean, dry cloth.
Always wipe with clean water after-
wards. This is to ensure that every
trace of cleaning agent has been re-
moved. Any remaining traces could af-
fect food the next time you use the
appliance.
Do not use a stainless-steel care
product for the cooking surface.
