POWER TAKE-OFF
Switch for engaging and disengaging the elec-
tromagnetic PTO used to activate front-mounted
accessories.
The PTO must never be engaged when
the front accessory is in washing/main-
tenance position This will destroy the
belt drive
The switch has two positions:
1 Engaged - to engage the PTO press the
front part of the switch. If the light is on it
means the PTO is engaged.
2 Disengaged - to disengage the PTO
press the rear part of the switch. If the light
is off it means the PTO is disengaged.

CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The cutting height can be adjusted manually or
electrically, depending on the model of the cutting
means assembly installed.
For the following operations, see the relative in-
structions provided in the cutting-means assy's
manual.
6 9 1 Manual adjustment - mod : [V 320]
The cutting height can be set in 9 fixed positions
using the relative lever.
6 9 2 CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The machine is equipped with a control for using
the cutting device with electrical cutting height
adjustment.
The switch allows the user to continuously
adjust the cutting height.
The cutting deck is connected to the contact (9:G).
6 10 TRANSMISSION ENGAGE/DISENGAGE
LEVER
(10:A)
A lever for disengaging the variable transmission.
The disengagement lever must never
be between the outer and inner posi-
tions This overheats and damages the
transmission
The levers allow the user to move the machine
manually (pushing or pulling), without the engine
running.
The two positions are:

1 Transmission engaged
- transmission engaged for normal
operation - Lever in (10:A2).
2 Transmission disengaged - Lever out (10:A1).
The machine can be moved by hand.
The machine must not be towed over long distan-
ces or at high speeds. The transmission could be
damaged.
6 11 SEAT ADJUSTMENT (11)
The seat can be tilted and moved
backwards and forwards to suit the driver.
The seat can be locked in the tilted up posi-
tion using the locking lever (11:B).
To set the seat in the desired position:
Slacken the screws (11:A).
Move the seat to the desired position.
Tighten the screws (11:A).
Tightening the screws to a torque over
24 Nm, will damaged the seat
The seat is equipped with a safety switch
that is connected to the machine's safet y
system. This means that when the driver is
not sitting in the driver's seat or he gets up
from it, it becomes impossible to activate the
commands or carry out any actions which
could compromise the safety of the driver
(see 7.5.2).

6 12 BONNET

Open the bonnet to fill up with fuel and check/top
up/change the engine oil.
The bonnet is opened by simply lifting it from the
front edge.
The machine must never be activated
when the bonnet is open Burns hazard

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Always make sure the engine oil level
is correct This is particularly important
when operating on slopes (see 7 4)
Be very careful when cutting grass on
slopes: avoid abrupt starts and stops,
do not run the machine transversally
to the slope but run from top to bottom
and vice versa
