Store your Avery Base Unit and accessories carefully
Store in a well ventilated, dry area.
Do not store in a damp environment that is not well insulated (such as an
unfinished basement or outdoor shed).
Do not store in areas where high temperatures may occur, such as in car
boots, a roof space or beside shed walls which can get hot.
Store when dry, not damp or wet.
Store away from direct sunlight. Direct sunlight could cause material
damage and fading of manufacturer's stickers.
NEVER place heavy items on top of the Avery Base Unit. This may distort
the plastic.
Check regularly for wear and tear
Check regularly for wear and tear on all Avery Base Unit parts.
Inspect your Avery Base Unit regularly
Get your Avery Base Unit inspected regularly to maintain it. Regular
inspection ensures the locking devices are working correctly and
essential components are secure.
Using the Avery Base Unit near the beach or salt water
If you live within 3kms of the sea, take extra care to store your Avery
Base Unit indoors and away from wind. Salt water carries in strong winds
and is extremely corrosive.
Salt and moisture can damage moving parts. Even salty atmospheric
conditions can affect the Avery Base Unit's mechanisms.
