Pull on the sash/shoulder
portion of the vehicle belt
to establish tension on the
lap portion of the belt. Push
down on the base unit as you
tighten the belt to achieve
maximum tension.

9 . Guide the sash/shoulder
portion of the belt through
the belt guides so it sits
evenly across the lap portion.

8 . While holding tension on the
vehicle belt, and ensuring the
lap portion doesn't loosen
off, close and secure the belt
locking device across both
layers of belt together.
Note:
The belt locking
device should be positioned
on the vehicle belt as close to
the belt tongue as possible.
1 0 . Allow the sash/shoulder belt to
retract into the vehicle wall.
(If you have used a clothes peg
on the belt, remove this now.)
