The RD494 features comprehensive test mode and error display functions to enable
users to easily identify and resolve any difficulties that may arise.
The RD494 module can be installed in any I/O Subrack location. Connection to the
RD494 is via the 25 pin D connector, or RJ11 connectors associated with the subrack
slot. Full D connector pin-out defaults are detailed in Table 1.
Alternatively multiple machines may be connected via a RJ to D25 interface module (RD-
9005 or RD-9022).
