1.10 Step 8: Verifying the Installation
After you turn on the XDS522/XDS522A, verify that the power indicator on the
front panel of the XDS522/XDS522A is illuminated. If the indicator light is not
illuminated, check the connections.
If the light does not turn on, turn off the XDS522/XDS522A and contact the TI
DSP Hotline (XDS522A) or Microcontroller Hotline (XDS522).
The remainder of the hardware installation is validated by the verification pro-
cess at the end of the software installation.
After your system is powered correctly, install the BTT software as described
in Chapter 2 and complete the verification process.
