5.4 Attaching the PacRac+ to a cot or
iN∫X
Locate the accessory mounting points on the cot or iN∫X (Figure 29).
1.
Set the PacRac+ on the cot or iN∫X main frame, positioned
slightly toward the loading end of the cot or iN∫X from the
accessory mounting points (Figure 29).
2.
Slide the PacRac+ toward the control end of the cot or iN∫X until
the rear feet lock into the accessory mounting points and the
side frame bottom lock castings are seated over the mounting
posts (Figure 29 and Figure 30).
3.
Verify the PacRac+ is securely locked in place by attempting to
push it toward the loading end of the cot or iN∫X. If the PacRac+
is locked securely, it will not move.
4.
If the PacRac+ slides away from the mounting points, reposition
the PacRac+ and repeat Steps 1-3.
5.
The installed PacRac+ on the various cots or iN∫X are pictured
as follows:

NOTICE
Depending on the size of the patient, the PacRac+ may
prevent the use of the shock frame.
