5.3 Unfolding the PacRac+ for Use

1. If an equipment strap was used to secure the legs in the folded
position, unbuckle the strap.
2. Stand the PacRac+ upright, with the rear feet on a flat surface.
Raise the tray to horizontal position (Figure 25). Continue to
support the tray as you complete Step 3.
3. Rotate one side frame to the front of the PacRac+ and slide the
side frame top lock into position in the tray (Figure 26).
4. Rotate the side frame handle 90° to the front of the PacRac+ to
engage the side frame top lock (Figure 27).

Using the PacRac+
5. Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 to position and lock the second side
frame (Figure 28).
6. Verify that both side frames are securely attached to the tray
and the locks are engaged before continuing.
7. If the straps were removed from the tray for storage, reattach
them to the tray. See Attaching the Straps, page 13.
