    About this operating manual Read this entire manual carefully before operating this machine for the first time. Keep this manual where it is easily accessible. This will enable you to refer to important information and handling instructions as needed. When the machine is delivered the owner receives instruction regarding operation and mainte- nance of the machine from his sales partner.

    Operation of the front power system When working on the machine it must be on a level, solid surface and must be protected against rolling away. Before starting up the implement, read the instructions on safety and handling for operation of the entire implement and connection to the tractor. The front power system should only be placed in service if all safety devices are attached and fully functional.

    Drive slowly toward the implement until the coupling triangle of the tractor is under the cou- pling triangle of the implement. Slowly lift the front power system hydraulically until the implement is slightly lifted. Secure the implement with the appropriate triangle locking mechanism. The triangle locking mechanism depends on the type of implement.

    Maintaining the hydraulic system The hydraulic system is under high pressure. Escaping fluids (hydraulic oil) can penetrate the skin and cause severe inju- ries. Before each use of implements, inspect all safety-related components, hy- draulic connections and threaded connections. Always switch off the engine and de-pressurize the system before working on the hydraulic system.
