Introduction Welcome to the matev family and thank you for purchasing a product from matev GmbH; we appreciate your trust. You have acquired a quality product, if contrary to expectations you should have problems with the implement, contact your responsible sales partner.
About this operating manual Read this entire manual carefully before operating this machine for the first time. Keep this manual where it is easily accessible. This will enable you to refer to important infor- mation and handling instructions as needed. When the machine is delivered the owner receives instruction regarding operation and maintenance of the machine from his sales partner.

General safety notices This chapter summarizes regulations and information that must be observed in connection with machines. Depiction of safety information The safety information in the text is combined with pictograms and signal words which to- gether indicate the severity of the expected risk Danger! Hazardous situations that will result in serious injuries or death.
All other uses are prohibited! Non-intended use causes: • Danger of injury to the operator or third parties • Damage to the carrier vehicle and the implements • Environmental damage Instructions for the owner Approval for road traffic • This requires valid road traffic licensing •...
• They must be familiar with the relevant safety regulations (accident prevention). Accident prevention The safety regulations and accident prevention regulations are legally regulated in every country. The shop foreman and/or the assigned industrial safety specialist at the company performing the work are responsible for compliance with the applicable regulations. Instruction When the implement is delivered the owner receives instruction regarding operation and maintenance.
Injuries from emerging high-pressure fluid. Comply with the notice in the operating manual. Machine-specific notice This section explains machine-specific warning pictograms and notices for operation and maintenance of the machine. Caution! Danger of crushing due to moving parts. Never reach into the crushing hazard zone if parts are moving or can move.

Operation of the front power system When working on the machine it must be on a level, solid surface and must be protected against rolling away. Before starting up the implement, read the instructions on safety and handling for operation of the entire implement and connection to the tractor. In addition, prior to start-up you must ensure that the vehicle meets the requirements specified in the German Road Traffic Vehicle Licensing Act.
lower raise Figure 7: Raise/lower hydraulic connections Mounting of front-end hydraulics Caution! Injuries due to fluid escaping under high pressure. Observe the information in the operating manual. Install the hydraulic lines in such a manner that any risk of damage due to the wheel or the front axle is excluded.
Implement connections Fig. 8: Implement connections Connections if used with front-end loader Mount or dismount the front-end loader in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions Observe the following for use of the front power system 1. The hydraulic connections of the front power system are not attached to the control unit, and BG2 couplings are required.

Coupling and uncoupling implements Comply with the axle loads specified by the tractor manufacturer 1. Drive the tractor forward in front of the implement. 2. Lower the front power system hydraulically. 3. Drive slowly toward the implement until the coupling triangle of the tractor is under the coupling triangle of the implement.
Use of a front-end loader Caution: danger of collision! For use of a front-end loader, the coupling support, lower link and upper link must always be removed! Caution! The front grille of the front-end loader is not compatible with the front power system and therefore cannot be used! Front grille Fig.
Attachment variants for the coupling support You can make four different settings on the coupling support (see Fig.10). Position the bolts in the corresponding holes to achieve the desired setting. Lowering safeguard for the front power system Use the lowering safeguard for: – Driving on roads – Driving between work areas – Cleaning and maintenance Shut-off valve with valve lock Fig. 14: Lowering safeguard, shown in unlocked position 1. Lift the front power system. 2.
Maintenance Safety during maintenance Switch off the vehicle engine, remove the ignition key and set the hand brake. Before each use of implements, inspect all safety-related components, hy- draulic connections and threaded connections. Danger of crushing due to moving parts. Never reach into the crushing hazard zone if parts are moving or can move.
• Check all screw and bolt connections. Tighten any loose screws and secure loose bolt connections with the securing elements provided. Comply with the screw tighten- ing torques; see Table 1: Screw tightening torques Thread size: Tightening torque: 9.9 Nm 24 Nm 48 Nm 85 Nm...
Table 2: Lubrication schedule symbols Maintaining the hydraulic system The hydraulic system is under high pressure. Escaping fluids (hydraulic oil) can penetrate the skin and cause severe inju- ries. Before each use of implements, inspect all safety-related components, hy- draulic connections and threaded connections. Always switch off the engine and de-pressurize the system before working on the hydraulic system.
Take the parts to the collection points for residual waste, special waste, or recycle them de- pending on material. matev GmbH does not provide any disposal services. Guarantee The general terms and conditions of matev GmbH apply. Page 29...
