Action
For the SLS function:
When the SLS request signal is on, make sure that you cannot increase the reference speed above the
SLS limit:
• with the panel in the local control mode
• with an external speed reference signal in the external control mode.
The LOC and REM buttons of the control panel or the Drive composer PC tool switch between the local
and external controls.
For the SMS function: Restart the inverter unit. Make sure that the inverter unit continues normal oper-
ation.
For the SSM function: Decrease the motor speed below the speed defined in parameter SSMx.13 SSM1
limit positive.
For the SLS function: Deactivate the SLS request of the FSO module. Make sure that the inverter unit
continues normal operation.
For the SSM function: Make sure that the SSM1 indication goes on.
For the SLS and SMS functions: Stop and restart the inverter units and motors. Make sure that they
operate normally.
Do the test again in the reverse direction.
Do the test again from each operating location.
For the SMS function: Set the SMS parameters to suitable values to be used in the application.
Create a backup file of the drive parameters with the Drive Composer pro PC tool.
Save the FSO safety file with the button Save safety file in the Drive Composer pro PC tool.
Fill in and sign the validation test report. Store the report in the logbook of the machine.
