Carefully inspect the circuit board for the

conditions.

Unsoldered connections

"Cold" solder connections.

Solder
bridges
between foil
patterns.

Protruding leads
which could
touch
together

Transistors for the proper

installation.

Electrolytic
capacitors

the
correct
position of the positive

Switch
lugs
shorted
together by
protruding leads or too much
solder.
