TIP
 Engine air filter and V-belt air filter
• The engine air filter uses a disposable oil-coated paper element. This ele-
ment cannot be cleaned with compressed air, it must be replaced.
• All filter elements must be serviced more frequently if you often ride in the
rain or dusty conditions.
 Hydraulic brake service
• Regularly check the brake fluid levels and replenish the reservoirs as need-
ed.
• Replace the internal components of the brake master cylinders and cali-
pers, and change the brake fluid every two years.
• Replace the brake hoses every four years or sooner if cracked or damaged.
ROUTINE
• Check operation.
• Check throttle grip free play,
and adjust if necessary.
• Lubricate cable and grip hous-
ing.
• Check operation.
• Adjust headlight beam.
