• Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the outlet.
• Do not let the power cord become damaged or frayed. Place it to avoid abrasions, cuts, fraying,
crimping, and kinking. Do not place objects on top of it and do not allow it to be stepped on or run over.
Be careful to keep the cord straight at each end.
• If you use an extension cord with the product, make sure the total ampere rating of the devices
plugged into the extension cord does not exceed the cord's ampere rating. Also, make sure the total
ampere rating of all devices plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed the wall outlet's ampere
rating.
• If damage occurs to the plug, replace the cord set or consult a qualified electrician. If there are fuses in
the plug, make sure you replace them with fuses of the correct size and rating.
• Always turn off the product using the power button, and wait until the power light stops flashing before
unplugging the product or cutting off power to the electrical outlet.
• If you will not be using the product for a long period, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
• When unplugging the plug, grip the plug itself; do not pull the power cord.
• Unplug the plug regularly and clean between the blades and around the base of the blades. If the plug
is plugged in for an extended period of time, dust collects around the base of the blades and a short
circuit or fire could occur.
• Do not use the plug if dust or any other foreign objects have adhered to the plug; otherwise an electric
shock or fire could occur.
• Place the product on a flat, stable surface that extends beyond its base in all directions. It will not
operate properly if it is tilted or at an angle.
• Do not tilt the product or the production stacker more than 10 degrees in any direction while moving it.
Doing so may cause the product or the production stacker to fall and cause damage or personal injury.
• Do not attempt to move the product or the production stacker alone; four people are required to move
the product and at least two people are needed to move the production stacker.
• When lifting the product, place your hands as shown in the User's Guide.
• Use correct posture when lifting the product.
• Make sure to remove all packing materials from the product and installation area.
• Except when moving the product, make sure the two casters at the front are secured and the feet at
the back are lowered. If they are not secured, the product could move during printing and cause an
injury.
• Do not attempt to move the product while the casters are secured or the feet are lowered. Doing so
may cause the product to fall and cause damage or personal injury.
