Before Using the Column
(1) Please visually inspect the package and outside of the column for any damage.
(2) Please check if product name and serial number written on the column package, column name tag, and
enclosed Certificate of Analysis (CoA) are matching and correct.

1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Shodex product. Shodex Asahipak ES-502C 7C is a week cation
exchange column filled with hydrophilic polymer-base gel modified with carboxymethyl group. It is an ideal
column for analyzing various proteins, peptides, and components of nucleic acids, because of its small
hydrophobic adsorption. The polymer-based gel allows its use at a wide pH range condition.
