Port Connections Chapter 4 - P ONNECTIONS A PC. ONNECTION The DTE port is presented as a standard 25 way D-Type socket on the rear of the unit. This port can be used to connect to a PC or other Asynchronous Device. A 25 way to 9 way adapter cable is supplied with the CyberGear unit.
Port Connections ISDN (BRI). ONNECTION ASIC The CyberGear TA and the CyberGear Gold connect to Basic Rate ISDN. Each CyberGear comes supplied with a suitable cable for connection to the ISDN Network. The Basic Rate ISDN port is labelled as :- Additional or replacement ISDN Cables can be obtained by ordering Sales Feature ARG- ISDNC (Alchemy Series part number CABBRINN03M0PP00).
The AT Command Set Chapter 5 - T COMMAND ENERAL This chapter explains how to configure and use the Terminal Adapter (TA) functionality of the CyberGear TA and the CyberGear Gold. The TA functionality is achieved by connecting a Terminal (or a PC running Terminal Emulation Software) to the CyberGear’s DTE port and issuing the appropriate “AT Commands.

NFORMATION This command is used (mainly by Plug and Play utilities) to obtain product information. ATI0 - displays the Product Number ATI1 - outputs the string “Avaya Inc.” ATI2 - displays the Product Description ATI3 - displays the Version String ATI9 - displays the Product’s Plug and Play ID.
The AT Command Set ATO – R ESUME ESSION Once the CyberGear establishes a call it enters the Data Transfer Mode in which it is ready to send and receive data. Normally the unit will remain in this mode until the call is terminated, or the PC sends the data mode escape sequence (+++).
The AT Command Set AT&B –B EARER APABILITY This command sets the units Bearer Capability. The options are:- AT&B0 - sets the Bearer Capability to Digital Mode (data). AT&B1 - sets the Bearer Capability to Speech Mode (3.1 kHz audio). AT&B2 - sets the Bearer Capability to V.110 Mode (V.110).
The AT Command Set AT&H – F ONTROL This command controls the flow of data between the attached PC and the CyberGear DTE port. This is parameter is important when the speed of the asynchronous connection between the CyberGear DTE port and the attached PC is greater than the speed of the link to the remote site.
The AT Command Set AT&W – S AVE CURRENT CONFIGURATION This command is used to save the current configuration parameters to profile 0, 1 or 2. If no profile is specified then the configuration parameters are stored in profile 0. i.e.
