Installation

Note: D o not plug in the power supply unit (3) until
startup.
Install the filter in the cold water pipes upstream
of the objects to be protected (see installation dia-
gram). Always provide stop valves.
Install the connecting module or connector in the
direction of flow in a horizontal or vertical cold water
pipe (observe direction of flow arrow).
Connection to connecting module
3/4" - 11/4"
1. Turn the black retaining ring to the left limit stop.
2. P ress the prongs of the device into the spaces
provided
3. Rotate the device clockwise 45° to the limit stop.
4. P ull the black retaining ring with both hands
towards the device until it clicks into place. The
device cannot now be rotated unintentionally.
T o release the filter, press the retaining ring
towards the connecting module.
Connecting to connector 11/2" and 2"
1. S crew the filter to the connector using 4 hexa-
gon screws and the seal (screws and washers
included).
2. C heck the seal for proper fit. Tighten the screws
evenly and crosswise.
Wastewater connection
Route the wastewater connection to the drain so
that no reflux occurs.
Note: D o not bend the vent tube (5) when changing
to the hose connection (6).
Note: T he flushing water hose must be secured at
a distance of at least 20 mm from the highest
possible waste water level (free discharge).
