About the answering system

Call screening

To screen calls at the telephone base:
If the answering system and call screening are on, the announcement and the
incoming message broadcast at the telephone base when a call is answered by
the answering system.
Options while a message is being recorded:
Press VOL + or VOL - on the telephone base to adjust the call

screening volume.
/HOME on the base to answer the call.

To screen calls at the cordless handset:
If the answering system is on and a call is being answered by the answering
system, the handset shows To screen call press [SELECT] at the same time.

When a caller is leaving a message on your answering system, you can stop
recording and talk to the caller by pressing
the handset.
