Cleaning and disinfection

CAUTION
Risk of damaging the material!
For cleaning and disinfecting, do not use any solvents (e.g.
acetone, alcohol) or cleaning agents with scouring particles.
Only use the specified procedures and use the cleaning and
disinfecting agents given. Other agents, dosages and
application times may cause damage to the product.
For information about suitable cleaning and disinfecting
agents and their specifications refer to document
9100081 on www.draeger.com/IFU.
1. Prepare a cleaning solution consisting of water and a
cleaning agent.
2. Clean all parts using a soft cloth with cleaning solution.
3. Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water.
4. Prepare a disinfectant bath consisting of water and a
disinfecting agent.
5. Put all parts to be disinfected in the disinfectant bath.
6. Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water.
NOTICE
Cleaning agents and disinfectants generally have a
degreasing effect. Apply silicone grease, e.g.
Christolube CG 111, to O-rings and moving parts.
7. Allow all components to dry in ambient air or in a drying
cabinet (temperature: max. 60 °C). Protect against direct
solar radiation.
