Secure the bolt head in place using a spanner or socket set. Then tighten the nut using a second spanner or socket set. When you turn the nut it will force the blue seal to conform to the shape of the threads on the bolt.

Before Installation Check all parts are present! Our factory takes every effort to make sure everything is packed in its proper place. But just in case a small part has gone astray please make sure you check every piece is present before you begin installing - right down to the nuts and bolts. Assemble with Care Installation should be completed by an adult. - Page 5 Assembling Your Stand Assembling Your Stand Attach Ring to Backboard & Top Pole You will need: Backboard (part 1) Ring (part 2) Top Pole (part 5) 4 x Bolts, Nuts & Washers A (M8 x 35mm) Fix the Ring (part 2) to the Backboard (part 1) and the square metal plate at the top of the Top Pole (part 5) simultaneously using four Bolts, Nuts &...
- Page 6 Attach the Base Struts You will need: Parts as assembled in Step 2 (base attached to bottom pole) 2 x Base Struts (part 3) 2 x Bolts, Nuts & Washers B (M8 x 20mm) 1 x Bolt, Nut & Washers C (M8 x 65mm) - and plastic bolt cap Attach one end of each of the Base Struts (part 3) to the base itself using Bolts B (one for each side).
- Page 7 Join Top and Middle Poles You will need: Pre-assembled parts from Step 1 (ring + backboard + top pole) Pre-assembled parts from Steps 2 - 4 (assembled base + bottom pole + middle pole) 1 x Bolt, Nut & Washers D (M8 x 60mm) 1 x Plastic Handle (Bolt E) Be careful as your base is not yet weighed down.
