PROBLEM
Fails to respond to touch
selection of a key
Unit fails to turn on when

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Keys locked
2. Defective touchscreen key
1. Battery low and plug-in power supply
not connected.
2. No power at outlet and battery low.
Initialization error.
Low pressure/flow from gas source; fault in gas
supply
1. Output pressure not set; insufficient gas
supply
2. Dirty or clogged filter
1. Peak pressure limit control is fully off
2. Tube disconnected between patient and
ventilator
1. Pressure transducer disconnected or
malfunction
2. Pressure transducer is out of calibration
1. Flow Trigger setting is too sensitive
2. Pressure transducer malfunction
1. Accumulation of secretion
2. Change in compliance; blockage in
airway or tubing
3. Patient tries to breathe independently
4. Endotracheal tube has slipped down
into a bronchus

CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Press LOCK key twice to unlock
2. Submit for service
1. Plug in charger to active outlet and
charge battery
2. Plug into active outlet and charge

Increase gas volume/pressure
1. Set output pressure; check gas
2. Submit for service.
1. Adjust the PIP limit control
2. Connect tube
