Definitions
1. Power Supply Cord with Plug
Supplies electric power to motor.
2. Cord Lock Lever
Helps prevent extension cord from
becoming detached when clamped
around the strain relief hook.
3. Strain Relief Hook
Clamps the extension cord and
reduces the likelihood of
disconnection of the extension cord
receptacle from the hedge trimmer
plug.
4. Trigger Switch
Designed to work together with the
front-handle switch as part of the
dual switch system to engage or
stop the cutting blades. Located on
the rear handle.
5. Rear Handle
The support handle for the hand,
located at or toward the rear of the
hedge trimmer.

6. Front-Handle Switch
Designed so that the cutting blades
can only be activated if both it and
the trigger switch are
simultaneously in the depressed
position. Located next to the front
handle.
7. Front Handle
Handle bar for the hand at front of
hedge trimmer.

Helps to protect against projecting
branches and helps prevent hand
from touching the cutting blades if it
slips off the handle bar.
9. Cutting Blades with Integral
Blade Guard
Steel blades for cutting hedges and
shrubs. The teeth of the blade guard
extend further out to the side than
the cutting teeth. This design helps
to reduce the risk of operator
contact with the cutting portion of
the blades.
10. Scabbard
Helps to reduce the risk of operator
contact with the cutting blades.
