Problem
The hob does not
switch on.

knobs turn without

required cooking

Some types of pans
may emit creaking or
ticking sounds.

Problem
Oven does not switch
on.
The oven control
knobs turn without
effect or you are
unable to set the
required cooking
function.
Possible causes
No power supply.
Possible internal breakage of the
knobs.
Pans with rough bottoms.
Excessively abrasive sponges or
unsuitable cleaning products.
This may be related to the material
of which the pan is made (layers of
different metals expand at different
rates).

Solution
Make sure the hob is connected to
the electrical supply and switched
on. Check the main circuit breaker
