Is the Model 1000AR securely mounted in a vertical position (fuses up) [page 5]?
Is there a clear path for airflow through the base heatsink and through the chassis
Is the temperature of the air surrounding the drive within specifications
Is the AC power source for the drive of the proper voltage, frequency, and capacity
Is the motor securely mounted and aligned
Is the drive and motor system properly grounded
Are the motor leads connected in the proper order
Is the cable from the motor to the drive properly connected
Is the bus loader installed and properly connected
Are the regen resistors properly installed and connected
If an Output or Dynamic Braking Contactor is used, is it properly interlocked
If Dynamic Braking is used, are the resistors properly installed and wired
Is the motor thermal properly wired to the drive
Is the Emergency Stop button properly installed
Are other drive controls properly wired
Is the Speed Reference source properly wired in
Is the motor mechanically safe to run (an unloaded motor is recommended) ?
Is the machine safe to run and are all personnel clear ?
Proceed to the Start Up section.
