The Elvita CTM4612V washing machine may not spin even when a program is selected due to the following reasons:
1. Spin Setting: The spin speed might be set to zero or a low value. Ensure the spin speed is correctly selected. 2. Child Lock: If the child lock is activated, it may prevent the machine from operating. Disable the child lock by pressing the appropriate buttons. 3. Unbalanced Load: The machine may detect an unbalanced load and stop spinning for safety reasons. Try redistributing the laundry evenly. 4. Program Selection: Some programs, such as "Rinse & Spin" or "Spin Only," need to be manually selected for spinning. Ensure the correct program is chosen. 5. Door Not Properly Closed: The machine will not spin if the door is not securely shut. Check and close the door properly. 6. Delayed Start: If a delay start function is activated, the machine will wait before starting. Cancel the delay if necessary.
Checking these factors can help resolve the issue.
