Loosen the nut securing the idler sprocket of the
chain you are tensioning

Pull down on the idler sprocket until the slack is
taken out of the chain.
3.
Tighten the idler sprocket nut and torque it to
40.6 N-m (30 ft-lb).
4.
Pull down on the chain near the opening in the
frame with 9 kg (20 lb) of force
Note:
The chain should deflect 3 mm (1/8 inch)
or less.
