1. Tine-control lever—raised

Traction-Control Handle
The traction-control lever controls the forward,
reverse, and neutral actions of the machine. Refer to
Driving the Machine (page 14)
Recoil Starter
Pull the recoil-starter handle to start engine
Fuel-Shutoff Valve
Close the fuel-shutoff valve before you transport or
store the machine.

Throttle Lever
Use the throttle lever to control the engine speed
(Figure 5). Apply the engine choke by moving the
throttle lever fully forward.
