The sensing head Dräger X-node contains the signal processing
electronics of a sensor (3) in the format DrägerSensor
head and sensor together constitute the measurement system. The

measurement system only transmits the concentration measured at
the sensor. The measuring units volume percent or ppm (parts per
million) are volume concentrations. Independently of the sensor used,
the device measures ambient pressure, temperature, humidity,
acceleration and orientation.

The LEDs for the alarm light are controlled depending on the alarm
thresholds. The alarm thresholds are preconfigured specifically for
each sensor (see sensor technical data) and can be changed
individually.
