5 . 2. In sta ll ati on of c on n e c t i n g h os e s
The connecting hoses for the heat source- and hea-
ting side for the AERO SLM are connected inside of
the heat pump and lead through the designated ope-
nings either on the right or left side. With the AERO
SLM 6-17 this is only possible on the left side.
To remove the front panel, the interlocking device
must be opened with a screw driver or a pointed ob-
ject. The interlocking device is behind the white cover,
around one centimeter above the edge of the unit. By
pressing the locking bolt, the lock of the front panel
will be released.The front panel can be unhinged out
by gently lift up.
Before the front part is removed for mainte-
nance or repair work, please be sure that
the device is tensionless.
After the front panel is removed, the fi xing screws of
the side parts will be loosed.
The fi xing screws are located on the front as shown
in the photo below.

Depending on the where the connection hose to the
outside should be feed through, the perforation in the
housing has to be break out. The insulation has to be
cut out with a sharp knife.
In the scope of delivery are rubber grommets. The
rubber grommets will be cut in crosswise.
The rubber grommets may only be cut in
crosswise and not cut out completely.
Then the grommets are mounted in the bushing du-
ring the installation of the connecting hoses.
