RASFinder User Guide
Introduction
The following loading procedure does not provide every screen or option in the process of installing
the MultiRouter software. The assumption is that a technical person with a thorough knowledge of
Windows and the software loading process is doing the installation.
Loading your Software
1. Run Windows on the PC that is connected to the Command Port of the RASFinder.
2. Insert the MultiRouter 200-Series diskette into the disk drive on the PC connected to the Command
Port.
3. Win3.1 users - From the File menu in Program Manager, click on Run. In the Run dialog box, type
a:\install or b:\install (depending on the location of your floppy disk drive) in the Command Line field
and then click on OK.
Win95 users - Click on the Start button and then click on Run. In the Run dialog box click on the
down arrow and choose a:\install and then click on OK.
4. Click on Install to continue installation, at any time you may click on Abort if you wish to cancel the
install.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install your MultiRouter software.
The On-Line Helps for the MultiRouter software provide a detailed explanation of each dialog box and
each option. To access the On-Line Help, click on the Help button in dialog box in which you would
like addtional information.
5. The Expanding/Copying Files From: dialog box is displayed. You can view the progress of the
installation from this dialog box. You can click on Abort at any time to cancel the install.
