Operation
Fire hazard due to overheated
food.
Unattended food can overheat and
ignite.
Do not leave the cooktop unattended
while it is being used.
Knobs
The knobs have a stop and must not be
turned to the 0 position past the 12 or
positions.
Switching on
When selecting power level 12, make
sure that the marking on the knob is
pointing exactly at 12.
Press the knob and turn it clockwise
to the required power level.
The in-operation indicator will light up.
The residual-heat indicator will light up
after a certain temperature has been
reached.

Switching off
Turn the knob counterclockwise to
0.
When all cooking zones are switched
off, the in-operation indicator will go
out.
Residual-heat indicator
If a cooking zone is still hot, the resid-
ual-heat indicator will light up after it
has been switched off.
The residual-heat indicator only goes
out when the cooking zones are safe to
touch.
Risk of burning or scalding due
to hot cooking zones.
The cooking zones will be hot after
use.
Do not touch the cooking zones
while the residual heat indicators are
on.
