Infineon TC397XE Compact Infineon TC397XE Compact Emulation Adapter has been custom designed to achieve a minimum vertical size of the LQFP292 adaptation. It provides full trace capabilities for the TC397Xx, TC387QP, TC3E7Qx devices where the trace port is not available or lacks the full trace capability. -

Configuration J1: Target reset configuration Solder jumper J1 connects the Emulation Adapter (EA) reset line and the user target board reset line and is soldered by default. J2: TP20_2/TESTMODEn configuration TP20_2/TESTMODEn microcontroller pin is latched at power on reset release to enter test mode. -

Mechanical information BGA292 Adaptation BGA Adaptation: The Target can have electronic components placed around the Microcontroller within the Emulation Adapter (EA) "ground floor", which impede connecting the EA to the Target. In such cases the distance of the EA from the Target can be optionally increased in steps of 3.25 mm by inserting the optional Extender. - Page 9 3. Connect the Emulation Adapter to the Solder part respectively to the Extender when it's being used. 4. Connect iSYSTEM Debug Adapter or Active Probe to the connector on the Emulation Adapter. Gently press the Emulation Adapter with your thumb to the Target board and keep it stable.
