Possible Cause
Damaged or worn blades.
Blades fitted incorrectly.
Low lift blades do not lift the grass sufficiently to
be cut.
Front castor wheels flattened grass before it is cut.
Wet grass is flattened before the cut.
A streak is a strip of longer grass in the cutting area.
The cause is a damaged blade.

Replace the blades.
Install blades correctly.
Try high lift blades.
On rotary deck, move the castor wheels to the outer
edges of the deck and remove anti scalp rollers.
Mow when ground conditions have improved.
